Cataracts in Rabbits

Cataracts cause a reduced amount of light to pass through the lens. The ability to focus and eyesight sharpness will decrease with time. This is accompanied by a loss of sensitivity to contrast. The ability to see objects in bright light is reduced and an affected rabbit will start to hop furniture or any object that is on its path. The June Bug Epidemic

In 1962, a woman working at a textile mill in the southern United States suddenly developed a rash and fever, claiming to have been bitten by a June bug.

Within days, there were dozens of others in the same department also exhibiting similar symptoms, and many were hospitalized even though they had not been bitten. The factory was evacuated, but only two insects were found, and there were no hazardous chemicals on the premises that could cause such a reaction. It was later determined to be stress-induced mass hysteria. (Source)

Catman of Greenock

A mysterious figure that crawls round the back alleys of a town in Western Scotland. Local legend tells he eats rats, could be a Russian sailor, is looked after by workers at a bus depot and may have had his legs broken by a local gang. No one even knows if he really exists. The only evidence being a pretty shocking video of Catman lying down eating a rat. (Source)

True Stories or True Fictions is a parody of travel tales, by the Greek author Lucian of Samosata. It is the earliest known fiction about traveling to outer space, alien life-forms and interplanetary warfare. Written in the 2nd century, the novel has been referred to as the first known text that could be called science fiction. The work was intended by Lucian as a satire against contemporary and ancient sources, which quote fantastic and mythical events as truth. (Source)
