Ribs

hiddleston-addicts:

So I know sixpenceee likes creepy stories and I hope she reads this one.

Ok, so, my boyfriend works for the military and he met a guy while he was stationed in another state (this was before he met me). He said the guy was nice and all but they never became friends.

Well one day this guy is grilling some ribs at work for anyone who wants to eat and my boyfriend turned down his offer to have any because he got called out to fix a problem.

Later on my boyfriend sees on the news that this dude that offered him some ribs, had killed his girlfriend that morning, cut her up into pieces and threw her body parts along the road. Crime scene investigators found all her body parts except for one part…her ribs.

To this day my boyfriend is convinced that the ribs the guy was grilling (and other men eating) were those of his murdered girlfriend.

I can’t remember the name of the guy who killed his girlfriend but tonight when I get to talk to him, I will ask him for the name of the guy and where it happened then let you all know.

It’s a true story for those who don’t believe this. It’s creepy and now I’m cautious of eating ribs when I’m at some strangers house.

HOLY SHIT

Hey sixpenceee! I’ve noticed you’ve posted a couple of games on your blog, and thought you might wanna see some more similar ones! In fact, both Loved AND The Company of Myself are on the list.

“Games That Make You Think”

Almost all of them are sort of disturbing in their own way, but other than the two above I’d definitely recommend Coma and Every Day the Same Dream.

Aaaaaaand a second list of games that your followers might like!

“More Games That Make You Think”

I especially recommend Air Pressure and Covetous, from that list. Covetous is especially disturbing, my goodness.

Anyway yeah! Hope you/your followers enjoy! The games aren’t very long usually, awesome way to take a break from working or whatever.

Reincarnation Cases

bacongirl6969:

I asked my three year old cousin who how many times he lived before he became who he currently is. He said he lived three lives.

The first person he said that he was someone fighting against the man with the square moustache. I showed him a picture of Adolfo Hitler and asked if that was the man he was fighting. “that’s the guy! he was bad. very bad.” was his response to the picture. I thought that this was strange, and also amusing.

The second life he said he lived was the life of a man in a bike gang. He said he had a friend named Jack. He didn’t give much detail about this life because it was “a dumb life.”

The third one he lived was one where he was a guy named Steve. I asked if he had a wife, and he said her name was Jen. He held up his hand and said “I had this many kids!” I asked how many girls and boys he had. He said he has two girls and three boys. (I thought this was creepy because it adds up to exactly five kids. He doesn’t even know how to count well! He isn’t even in school either.)

Anyways, this was just a little thing I wanted to check out. I wanted to see if reincarnation is real. This doesn’t prove anything though. But it was creepy how in-depth he was about his answers. He doesn’t tell much lies either.

Here are some more cases suggestive of reincarnation

Cool Brain Weirdness

dammit-eridan:

This is a story for sixpenceee! It’s not scary or paranormal but it has to do with neuroscience so I thought you’d be interested.

So I have a friend named Carter who has synesthesia, the kind where colors are attached to words (like his name is really deep blue, and my name, Kristin, is a light purple). Added to this, he’s also colorblind. Everything red or pink just looks like different shades of brown to him.

Carter once told me and our friends that sometimes a color he doesn’t recognize will attach itself to words. He’s apparently only seen this color in his mind paired with words, so he doesn’t know what its name is. He also can’t describe it to us since colors in general are hard to describe when you can’t compare it to an object.

I for one am willing to bet money that the color Carter sees but doesn’t understand is red. I can’t see any other explanation. The question is, how would his mind know what red looks like if Carter’s never seen it? Sometimes I give myself headaches trying to figure it out.

Sixpenceee, do you have any idea on what’s going on?

Here’s the post about the science behind synthesia đꙂ

Hey has anyone ever been able to explain the connection between mind and brain? Like how do we think, what causes it, how is it connected to the brain?

you mean the mind and body problem?

that’s one of the greatest mysteries of science

Do you ever find it hard to believe some of the stories people on here share with you? / is it hard to be open minded while reading some of these things? I’m very curious lol I feel like it must be!

I don’t believe in all of them, but sometimes the concept of a story or experience is great, hence why I reblog it.

Never take any of the paranormal/creepy posts seriously is what I always say.

I think you may have just become the leader of a new generation of neuroscientists. You have been subliminally putting neuroscience information into us and have certainly motivated many to follow in your path. I feel so happy right now. Thankyou

No THANK YOU! because it is one of my biggest aspirations to find out more on the human consciousness and I am so happy that some of you are going forth with it!

How old were you when you first decided to become a neuroscientist? And what got you interested in it?

Since I was young I always wanted to know what happened to people after death, something that will give us facts and evidence, not something up to debate.

I thought if I studied astrophysics, perhaps I could understand how the universe came to be and that would get us somewhere. I was thinking more of cosmology and understanding what happened way in the beginning. But wow, I did an internship at the American Museum of Natural History in their space science department, and I was pretty disappointed.

Astrophysics research is literally sitting around all day in a little office and computer coding (for the most part). It wasn’t my thing, so I decided to call it quits.

I soon found neuroscience, and found that not only does it really interest me, but if perhaps we understand the hard science behind the human consciousness, what it is, how it comes to be, what makes us aware, perhaps we could find some clues for what happens to it after death.

Are we just a bunch of electrochemical reactions or is there something vital we are missing out on?

Ofcourse something like that will take decades of research and may not even happen in my lifetime or the next generations lifetime, but I can try and bring the world one step closer right?

And hopefully my blog has influenced some of you to try and bring the world a step closer as well! 🙂

I won’t post pictures of it on this blog, because it grosses me out but look it up on google images.

I hear a lot about your followers reaction to the kimberly story, but we never got to hear your reaction towards it, what did you think?

no joke, but the instant I posted that story I heard my dad call my mom and tell her, that the lights in the living room went out.

anyway, after posting it I went back to HW, I was in the basement because I concentrate better there. I went up to my room to get a textbook, and the moment I stepped in my room and turned on the light, the light bulb fused and wouldn’t work anymore.

this was horrifying to me because my dad just put a new bulb in there yesterday.

the story itself isn’t SO bad, it is pretty grusome, and I’m pretty sure it would’ve been even more terrifying if we were all in Mr.Hermanski’s class, as he told the story rather than listening to a really bad quality audio.

but eh, it’s the best I can do.

it’s really weird that right after so many people listened to the story, their lights went out, they heard voices or got a mysterious phone call.

and the fact that it happened to me too, creeped me really out. so that’s why the story scared me.

“

An old bitter man to Buddha:

“Buddha, every day you come here smiling and every day I curse your name, I curse your family and everything you believe in” the old man says ” but every day you enter this city with a smile knowing that I await you with my harsh tongue, and everyday you leave through the same entrance with that same smile. I know by speaking to you now that you are not deaf, why do you keep on smiling while I do nothing but scream the worst things I can think of to your face?”

Buddha, with the same smile still on his face looks at the old man and asks “If I were to bring you a gift tomorrow morning all wrapped up in a beautiful box would you accept it?” to which the old man replies “Absolutely not, I would take nothing from the likes of you!”. “Ah ha” the Buddha replies “Well if I were to offer you this gift and you were to refuse then who would this gift belong to?”.

“It would still belong to you of course” answers the old man. “And so the same goes with your anger, when I choose not to accept your gift of anger , does it not then remain your own?”

”
