The gravestone of Bathsheba Sherman, the supposed witch who worshipped the Devil and her sacrificed her baby to Satan in the movie the Conjuring. However, her real life was quite normal and none of the accusations seem to be true. Her gravestone was vandalized in 2013 leaving a slash mark. (Source)

The Julia Legare Legend Back in the mid-1800s, Julia was declared dead and interred in the family’s mausoleum. 15 years later it was opened again and Julia’s remains were crumpled at the foot of the mausoleum’s door. She had been buried alive. The family horrified, entombed her once more. After that every time the door was closed it would be found open a day later. Chains and unbreakable locks were used to keep the mausoleum sealed tight, but they would always break and the door would open. As little as 50 years ago a door was put on that could only be removed by industrial heavy machinery and that door was also opened. That’s when everyone gave up trying to close the door. To this day, the original door is nothing more than broken marble that sits in the grassy doorway to the tomb. It is thought her spirit can rest in peace.

h-erojuana:

A video for sixpenceee. A guy close to my family recorded this while at the hospital and shared it with us. You can see a dark small shadow moving in the video, but I have no idea what that could be. If you could, please share and give me feedback on it.

I can see a child like outline running at the beginning. Super creepy!

The Grave of Kitty Jay

Located in England, little is known about the woman who supposedly lies here, tradition tells that she was an 18th century workhouse orphan who, having been ruined and deserted by a fickle lover, hanged herself and was buried at a crossroads with a stake driven deep into her heart, as was the custom for dealing with suicides then.

In 1860 her bones were re-discovered and re-buried in this wayside grave on which for years afterwards, fresh flowers would mysteriously appear each morning. Even when the blizzards of winter had covered the moor with a thick blanket of snow, the flowers would appear, although no footprints were ever found in the snow surrounding Jay’s Grave.

Today there are frequent reports of a footless, female figure that is often seen floating eerily above the wayside grave of Kitty Jay. (Source)

This ghost-like apparition was taken after an automobile accident. All of the passengers survived which lead some to believe an angel assisted them.

In Rhode Island, a woman took a cell phone picture of her 22 month-old niece, Penny, while babysitting her alone. After looking at her photo, she saw the woman behind Penny. This woman wasn’t there at the time. She had it examined but no tampering was detected. She has since compared family photos and realized that it looks a lot like her deceased great grandmother. A Bulgarian born farmer, Trayche Draganov, claims to have found a box, chained shut, containing a werewolf-like skull while ploughing a new section of field in the village of Novo Selo, Republic of Macedonia. While some take his word for it, others claim the skull resembles that of a baboon.

The Headless Horseman has appeared in many forms of literature throughout history and throughout the world. Many countries have their own unique version of the legend in which some form of the headless horseman appears. In American folklore and the headless horseman is a character in Washington Irving’s: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. The horseman himself is allegedly a soldier from the Revolutionary War who was decapitated by a cannonball and now roams Sleepy Hollow on a horse.
